In addition, I've compiled subsections of TBR Bio that I feel can be usefully added to the reading from EK Bio for a more complete content review from the two books, without reading TBR Bio in its entirety, as many are (understandably) reluctant to do (myself included).

Deeply appreciate it.

I am going make a print out of this.

Again, thank you

Nice idea, wish I had this before my MCAT

What we @ SDN should really do is breakdown the official AAMC topic lists. It would take a large volunteer effort but correlating each topic on the list to review book chapters + maybe throwing in some high yield questions (i.e. things you should know how to do) would IMO be an insanely valuable study tool.

Really great! Would also appreciate if someone wants to supplement EK1001 with TPR Bio! :D

Thanks again for the great post.

Very nice. However I don't think Gluconeogensis, FA oxidation, or urea cycle should be studied in that depth.

God bless you for this. I spent way too much time trying to figure this out and it hurt me. Not only did I get it wrong, but I ran out of time and ended up doing passages for topics I didn't read yet.

Thank you for putting this together! I'm about to begin the SN2ed 4-month schedule at the end of this month and was somewhat confused on how to match up the topics in the EK 1001 books with the BR books. This will help extremely helpful!

I appreciate this, particularly the EK + TBR bio supplement. Thanks.

If you go to the 3 month calendar page (http://www.studentdoctor.net/3-month-mcat-study-schedule/) and click on the links that say "do first 1/3 bio passages", he lists the relevant passages for each section.

When you supplement with EK1001, have you guys been checking the problems every page? Every 2 pages? What is the interval you guys use to check your problems in the EK1001 books?

Thank you! This is great. If only you could "save threads" just like you can on reddit!

The next best thing is to bookmark the page. That helps a lot. Also, if you need to find and access it from different computers, click "Watch Thread." When you go to your account, there's a place for you to look at the pages you're watching. :-D

I will watch the thread! Bookmarking is bad....I never look at any of my bookmarks again :(

Thanks :)

Hey I wanted to ask a question. For ek chem chapter one it says solutions through electrolytes 439-454 But the questions end prior to electrolytes. 454 is just the start of electrolytes. Should we do all of electrolytes or skip it? Just wanted to make sure. Thanks.
