Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if the EK bio 1001, chem 1001, o chem 1001, physics 1001 and 101 verbal EK books are worth it. I have been told that they don't explain the answers well and have some mistakes?.. Opinions?

101 EK verbal - highly recommended
1001 bio - highly recommended(passage based)
1001 orgo - great book to solidify what you learned (mostly stand alone with some short passages)

1001 gen chem/physics - Did not like them much. Did have some no-equation concept based questions similar to those on the real deal though. I would only use this for weak topics if at all. (mostly stand alone with some short passages)

Agreed. I found the most errata in the physics, plus I hated it. Crappy answers, and the questions aren't reflective all of the book. I'm buying something else.

A lot of good problems, but some are just way too darn complicated. And be aware, these 1001 books have more holes than Swiss cheese.
