Is it just me or does it take others mor than 3 hrs to complete a ch of EK bio, sometimes I only do a half a ch a day, most of the time when I am reading I take breaks and I do not understand somethings so I have to look them up online.

It's very, very dense I agree.

A page in EK has so much info and most of it is important so you can't rush through it in 20 mins. Half a chapter is a little light though, even on days where it's a lot you should be able to get through at least one chapter + some timed practice.

yeah i ended up doing a chapter a day. for organic maybe u can do 2 chapters in 1 day. but other than that, bio and physics were something where you need atleast 1 day per chapter.

took me a month to review.
now i am just doing questions/tests for my final month.

exams on the 8/23 so i will tell you how it worked out for me in sept.

I got through the o chem and physics books pretty quickly, but yeah gen chem and bio were insane. It would definitely take me hours and hours to do some of the bio chapters. The books were so dense that I went through most of them twice, and I went through the more difficult bio chapters at least 3 or 4 times.

I went through roughly a chapter a day for EK. When I came across something I felt like I needed to brush up on, I'd watch a Khan Academy video or read Wikipedia. This would take 2-3 hours per chapter (reading + in-lecture questions). Then I'd take the 30-minutes exam the next day.

I kept a note of chapters that I felt I needed to revisit. Reviewing a chapter for the second time went by significantly faster (less than an hour).

The EK books are review books, so they are very dense. Having the basics down before studying from EK helps a lot.

I did a quick 10-minute skim of each EK chapter before I really started studying it. I would try and get an idea of what was going to be covered, what I already knew and what I was going to spend more time on. It helped me mentally prepare and organize for the studying.
