EK in-class = discouraging me

SO DISCOURAGING.... you'll see why... just look at my scores...

I took the in-class exams twice for some lectures... and here are my scores... it's so discouraging... I don't know what to do...

Bio Lecture #2 = 4 first time... 9 second time
Bio Lecture #3 = 7 first time... 8 second time
Bio Lecture #4 = 4 first time... 10 second time
Bio Lecture #5 = 7
Bio Lecture #6 = 7
Bio Lecture #7 = 7
Bio Lecture #8 = 7
Bio Lecture #9 = 7

Verb #1 = 8
Verb #2 = 4

Phys #1 = 8, 8
Phys #2 = 5, 4

Chem #1 = 8, 9
Chem #2 = 4, 9
Chem #3 = 6
Chem #4 = 8
Chem #5 = 5
Chem #6= 7


Org #1 = 4

Don't worry too much as long as you're learning from your mistakes. EK even states that their in-class tests are supposed to contain only the toughest passages.

Don't worry too much about the EK in class scores. EK in class exams on average are harder than actual MCAT. Just try to learn as much as possible from the mistakes you make.

As said, they are meant to be harder. EK themselves have said this. They aren't really supposed to mock an MCAT section. On the real MCAT, its not like you have just read the topic of the questions 5 minutes before doing the passages.

Also, there was a thread on here in the past where people were posting their scores on these. Most people weren't scoring that high. And also, given the insecurity effect that influences scores posted on these boards (I have never heard anyone on here post that they scored a 25 or below on the real test, unless it is vital for the question that they are asking in their thread. And it is a fact that around 50 percent of all test takers get a 25 or below), the average person was probably scoring much less than what was posted on these boards. I'd say you are scoring about what the average person would on these things.
