EK vs. Kaplan vs. TPR vs. a private tutor

Hi,
I am living in NYC and am just starting to prepare for the April 2006 MCAT.

Has anyone taken either a Kaplan or TPR prep course and then b/c they did not do well also take the EK course? If so which was better and why? Did EK improve your score?

I've taken Kaplan twice and my scores are still low! I'm so frustrated and am now thinking about EK but am not interested in waisting my money if it's really not that different.

If you've taken more then one prep course in the NYC area and can comment I would REALLY appreciate your thoughts!

But why wouldn't you take there course? Have you heard negative things about it?

Do you think TPR's course is more worth your money?

Thanks for the advice. My problems are with timing and integration of the material. I need a course for pacing and to ask questions. I usually work best studying and working with tutors.
