Hi I am student of 4th year in medical college in Pakistan and I can only pull an away electives only once either to USA or Australia. I will be heading to anyone of these two countries for Pediatrics residency. Now I know that if you have to do residency in USA they require USCE in most of the schools. But as I am not sure where i'll be heading for residency and as I can only get one elective abroad I need some suggestions and news about the electives in both of these countries.
Any help will be really useful
Thanks!!

Most senior medical student rotations at US medical schools are done through VSAS, but I'm not sure the procedure for an international student. The range of electives is as wide as you could imagine.

What I am trying to ask is that whether USCE is absolute requirement for foreign students? If you don't have US Clinical Experience how much does it cost you later for residency position?
