Email Letter Head for Acceptance/Rejection

Hello dental students,
I thought many of us wanted to know that on the email title of either "rejection" or "acceptance" sent out on Dec 1st will state specifically on the email title "rejection" or "acceptance" or "School decision". We are here waiting till Dec. 1 and are really curious about it. Thanks

The only school I interviewed at will call me instead. So, it will only say **** is calling. I'll probably be shaking so much that won't be able to accept the call

I think it varies per school. Sometimes they will list acceptance in the header, I don't think I've ever seen the word Rejection in the header but for rejections usually you can tell my the first line of the email when they say "Thank you for your interest, we regret to inform you etc...". Also yes some schools only call for acceptances.

My acceptance e-mails usually said "Congratulations" in the subject line.

I only went to 3 of my interviews and my acceptances were as follows:

1: "congratulations" in the subject of the email
2: "decision made" in the subject of the email
3: call from the dean of the school

Midwestern AZ: "DMD Acceptance"
Pittsburgh: "Congratulations from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine!"
LECOM: "LECOM School of Dental Medicine Congratulates You on Your Acceptance"
UTSD: "Welcome to the UT School of Dentistry Family!"

Nova was via phone call from Dr. Lippman but I declined so they didn't send an email.

wouldn't that be something. They call you with an acceptance but you are so afraid that you hangup by mistake and then they give the next person the acceptance...lol...but hope it does not happen to you!

I can't speak on acceptances, but rejections could have literally anything in the title. Some examples:
- NYU: "Notification of NYUCD Application Status"
- Rutgers: "Application Denied"
- Texas A&M: "No Further Interviews"
- Washington: "201x Final Status"
- Tufts: "Tufts U. School of Dental Medicine Decision"
- VCU: "Thank you for applying to VCU's School of Dentistry"
- West Virginia: "RNI Format Letter"

So its all over the place.
