Email on Match Day

Ok, so i'm totally freaking out right now and I just had a question about the email. I understand that the time is variable (no one knows when it'll come) but do people who match are the only ones that get the email. If you don't match, do you have to wait till' noon to see that you didn't match.

I am pretty sure that either ways you will receive an email, and you only find out your fate after opening it. Regarding the discrepancy of time, I think that happens due to time zone, folks get them around 9:00AM or so but they forget to mention they are on the west coast...

Emails are usually received around 9-9:30 AM EST, so people on the West coast normally get them around 6-6:30 AM PST.

When I matched, I got mine at 8:43:44 AM EST.
