I got a letter in the mail from UAB and an email from Vandy.

I got an e-mail from Vanderbilt as well.
As did I. Did anyone receive anything from OHSU post-interview?
The Chair sent an e-mail a little over a week after the interview.
i got a christmas card from scott and white....and i haven't even interviewed there yet. and a postcard from a resident i met at the interview dinner from UPMC
got a x-mas card from rush...
...I was hoping for a gift card to au bon pain so I could buy myself a delicious jalapeno bagel

So I wonder what it means if YOU haven't heard anything from a program that others have heard from. Blah blah. This must end SOON!
Ignore it all and rank the programs in your order of preference. I know the love notes feel good, but they shouldn't change your rank list.
Hey, dude, I would be very interested in what you mean by "form e-mail" from the 'Ville. I know someone who got a letter from there and was super excited thinking it virtually meant a guaranteed spot, but if everyone got the same thing, maybe not. Apparently the letter this person got was addressed to them personally and was pretty specific with saying they liked him and felt like he was a good fit with the program and they hoped he would rank them highly or something along those lines. You can PM me if you don't want to share publicly. I am sure my buddy would appreciate some info!

Personalized letter from Dr. Zapol at MGH, two personalized e-mails from interviewers at Penn, post-card and phone call from UPMC, personalized letter from Dartmouth, form letter from GWU, form e-mail from Georgetown.

nothing from UCI but i did get a personalized letter from the PD at mayo rochester a couple weeks after my interview

Got a "will rank you very highly" letter from UCSD
Got a "thanks for coming" card from the administrative staff at OHSU
I got the same letter from UCSD, I wonder how many of those they give out. I thought they would be my #1 before I even interviewed there and pretty much throughout the interview season, but I'm not so sure anymore. Who knows...I guess we just go with our gut feeling.
got a promotional form letter from scott and white with a handwritten note from the pd on it. nice touch.

I interviewed at CWRU-UH and didn't hear anything post-interview...
i haven't heard anything from ccf ;-(

I honestly don't think that ccf and uh send out thank you type things.
wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy back, like a couple of months ago, I got an email from the PD at Metro. I wouldn't read too much into it, though.
Good luck everyone with finalizing rank lists. Mine is still changing, daily. Hopefully I will settle on a list pretty soon.🙂
