We did one a couple years ago that had a doctor holding a wrench (kind of a caricature type cartoon) that said "You break it, we fix it...or at least we'll stop the bleeding!" It was cute without offending (that had been a problem in past years with getting a tee okayed by administration). The club is looking to do another one this year, so if anyone else responds to this thread, maybe we can have a group effort and start a trend!
 
Crazy old post but hey at least I used the search fx. My EMIG is having the same issue... trying to find a nice slogan without offending the big wigs at school. With your combined years of experience do you guys have a whitty one liner that can sum up EM?

My medical school class, after second year, got together and made our own shirts. Nearly everyone in the class participated. We did not have the logo of our school on them, but they more or less said: "No More BS! School of Medicine Class of 2007" and then on the back had a list of all the students names.

BS = Basic Sciences. We originally wanted to make the shirts with the schools logo and such, but we were told we could not. So we figured if we did it independent, we could put whatever we wanted.... Nobody ever said a word and everyone thought the shirts were awesome!
 
So far one person had a picture of a flat line and the caption "we dont take quitters". Maybe one about the top 5 medical abbreviations in EM would be cool. SOCMOB (sitting on corner minding own business), DFO (done felled out), DFOIC (done felled out in church) etc. with little stick figures acting them out. idk. feedback?!?!

I'd buy that. Abso-fricking-lutely.

Not EM related, but our surgery interest group has shirts with a pic of a scalpel and "Nothing heals like stainless steel" -- which even though I'm not a surgery person I thought was pretty awesome.
