Emt B vrs Pharmacy Tech

Okay, so i need a part time job while in college. At the end of this year(my senior year in high school) I'll be certified as an EMT-Basic. I also have the opportunity to do a pharmacy tech program.So I did a little research, and being a pharmacy tech- close to most of my top pick colleges- will earn me close to double then what i would make as an EMT-Basic. I don't want to be a pharmacist though, and im kind of worried what this will look like when I'm applying to med school. Being an EMT-Basic would give me more first hand experience, but not as much money-which will sorely be needed through my undergrad days. So my question is; is it worth getting my Pharmacy Tech program, and should i do that through college solely for the financial aspect. Any advice/opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I was a pharmacy tech for 2.5 years, and it was extremely useful. It was pretty fun, too. None of the 3 med schools I contacted had any problem with me claiming my work as clinical experience, and there's not much reason why they should. It's a hell of a lot more useful than wheeling patients around a hospital. I already know a good half of the pharmacology the 2nd years are learning. I'm sure both choices are excellent, though. If you're genuinely interested and make an effort to learn, you'll get a lot out of either one.
