Hola again SDN,
I haven't written here in a while but when I did I had a 3.75 and 33. Now I'm most likely going to have a 3.69 33. It sucks pretty hard (as in getting As in all upper level and mid level sciences) because that's the same GPA I had freshmen year and now it seems as if I wiped my progress. Before you slam me with SDN neuroticism heres some backdrop:
I had to finish off my prereqs for this semester before graduating so I loaded them on, all 18 credits plus my normal ECs. I was getting As in all of them and I was balancing things really well but then my girlfriend of 4years asked for a break and revealed other things. In the last two months most of my classes turned into Bs with only two As to keep me afloat. My semester GPA will most likely be a 3.3-3.4. Up until now I've had a strong upward climb of (3.56 freshmen, 3.82 sophomore, 3.98 junior, 3.75 last semester and now a 3.56 for the year most likely) so I'm afraid of the red flag this will send to adcomms this cycle.
Aside from my personal disappointment of losing my hard worked 3.75, how much is this going to hurt me honestly and what's the best course of action?
Tl;dr: had a 3.75, took 18 credits of easy per reqs, gf and I had a major relationship crisis, semester was FUBAR and now I may end up with a 3.696, thoughts on how to proceed and think
