Hi, guys, so many of us will apply this year. I plan to travel this summer, but if I submit my application in June, do I need to stay at home and wait to hear back from them for the summer? or they wont start send out notices till whatever month? Anybody know? i want to go travel for July and Angust, is that a good idea?

Will someone be able to check your mail?

If i go, I should find someone to check my mail for me.

A number of schools require that you submit their secondary apps (found on their websites) at the same time (within the same week or so realistically) as you submit your app, so just give yourself enough time to do those. You could easily do one a day. Check with the schools you're applying to and see what their secondary app policy is. All the info is also on the AADSAS application once you open your account.

Yes. I received a fair share of invites via email. However, some were good ol' snail mail. Also, some schools will have a required notification deadline (some were two weeks after letter date) if you accept the interview invitation.
