ENT chances w/ no aways/letters/research

Had an ENT elective scheduled next month that just got cancelled. I don't think aways will happen. Was going to try and get a few case reports on these rotations. Idk any ENT attendings. Am I screwed? MD at low-tier school, step 1 26x and junior AOA. A few pubs in a non-surgical specialty. Will programs be lenient given the conditions or is my app just missing way too much? Your stats sound great, 26x step 1 will definitely land you invites. And even non-ENT research is still valuable. I think your biggest weakness will be lack of letters of recommendation from within the field if you aren't doing any home electives or away rotations.

No letters of rec is gonna hurt you. No doubt. You still have a chance but if I were you I'd delay a year and do a research year and make contacts.
