Ok so a competitive inhibitor binds to the active site, but the Vmax and the shape stay the same. A non-competitive inhibitor binds to the allosteric site, the shape changes, thus causing the Vmax to decrease, right? Is competitive inhibition reversible while non-competitive isn't or can they both be reversed by the removal of the inhibitor?
