Kaplan blue book says
"At approximately 50 celcius, heal alters the shape of the active site of the enzyme molecule and deactivates it, leading to a rapid drop in rate."

"Up to approximately 40 celcius, the rate of enzyme action increases; after that, the protein will denature" meaning drop in rate

I think blue book outline states that most of optimum temperature is approximately 40celcius.

so is it 40 or 50celcius that the enzyme reaction start to drop?
