Does anyone have an opinion on doing epidurals within a few days of a flu shot??

its not even an attenuated virus anymore, it should be of no consequence. In these medical-legal troubled times, i would say to wait a few days may save you logistical headaches, but scientifically, I, while no expert, dont see any issue with it.

one advantage of waiting, is that patients often get febrile as a reaction to the vax, not related to the actual "flu" in the shot, but the medium. If you do a procedure the same day, and they patients gets febrile, you will be concerned.

2-3 days later, that should have all passed, including the general malaise of it all, if succeptable. unclouding the picture pehaps.

because of a HUGE number of my elderly folk with all kinds of weird reactions with injections just before or just after flu shots - i have changed my practice to a 2 week moratorium between flu shot and any type of cortisone injection...
