hello! I have taken the eppp years ago in a different state then I am currently living in. does anyone know if I have to reapply to take the exam (from the new state) or what the protocol is? speaking to my old university to resend transcripts and paying that fee again sounds terrible 🙂

If you took the EPPP and were licensed, you should just have to pay for the score transfer from ASPPB. As for getting your transcripts and such, that is a separate part of credential review that you may have to do regardless, depending on if your stuff is banked or not.

I'm licensed in two states and didn't have to pay a transfer fee when I applied for reciprocal licensure in State B, so I think it may state-dependent. Also, if one of the states in question is Georgia or Nevada, I think you have to contend with the EPPP Part II.

Yeah, some states will have reciprocity, seniority, CPQ or ABPP deferrals for licensure, so OP should definitely look into those potential options should they qualify.

I remember ASPPB saying that if you passed "the EPPP" then that's equal to passing EPPP-1 and EPPP-2, despite EPPP-1 being the same thing as "the EPPP." That was a while ago though and maybe only applied to passing "the EPPP" before a stated adopted EPPP-1/EPPP-2.

If you didn't pass in the first state and were never licensed in the first state, I believe you're starting over. Apply for licensure in the new state to be eligible to sit for the EPPP and then take it. Won't have to deal with transferring scores at that point.
