For previous applicants/current residents:

So programs send a message through ERAS inviting you to interview and the interview date selection is in a different interface. Once we have scheduled the interview via ERAS, do we need to respond to the message at all to say something to the tune of "thank you for the opportunity to interview" or something similar?

Don't want to be extra but don't want to be rude either. Just looking to do what the average med student is expected to do haha. Thanks in advance!
 
You can but it'll probably go in the junk file. But won't hurt.
