ERAS letter of rec due date?

some of my letters of rec are really dropping the ball on uploading their letters. Does this mean that on september 15th I can't submit my application?

You can always submit, you just won't be complete until you upload the X# of letters that each program wants.

And is it true once the LORs are uploaded it will take a couple of days for ERAS to process it? I thought once the LOR authors upload them( if they upload on Sept 15th) we can submit right away. Does anyone know about this?? Please?

The letters upload immediately. Many programs don't download the applications until they are complete with the Deans Letter which usually goes out on October 1st
