ERAS LORs uploaded after PDs received our application

I read in the 2023 ERAS Residency User Guide that LORs can be assigned throughout the application process after programs have received the initial application. However, there is no guarantee that the programs will review the LORs sent via ERAS.

If we get LORs uploaded and submitted after programs initially review our applications, can we email the programs directly to let them know that there is a new LOR available? What is the best way to get the programs to read our LORs that are uploaded after they received our initial application?

I had a situation where something happened to me involving a letter having to be replaced. I called/emailed all the program coordinators at all the programs to which I applied (all 80 some of them) to let them know.

In my case it may or may not have affected things too much. I still got a relatively high yield return on my IIs.
