Hi guys

I am practically finished with my aplication except for the essay portion of the aplication. Does anyone have any tips and/or suggestions about the essay portion. I am having a really hard time with it.

Could anyone give me some pointers on where to go to see some sample essays that are considered "good".

Please help

I didn't write this, a friend did, but it makes some decent suggestions:
"What qualities do you have to be a doctor? What do you want to accomplish when you become a doctor? Why do you want to go to medical school? What do you have done so far to be there? If you changed your major, why?
Sometimes people talk about their weird grades and stuff, but I wouldn't bring negative stuff to the personal statement. Negative stuff meaning the explanation of Ds on your transcripts; things like that.
Keep it general. Write about who you are. And why you want to go to medical school. Don’t talk about a specific school unless you are applying to only that one.
that's all I know..."
I thought those were decent ideas. I'm sure if you google some stuff you'll get some ideas, too. As far as samples: google. Also, go to a bookstore. They have books on "essays that worked". It'll definitely give you some ideas/direction.
