I'm not sure if this i the right sub-forum but I just wanted to hear about anyone's experiences with essay reviewing services.

I've essentially finished my statement but I really need feedback on the grammar/spelling/word-choice and also could use some improvement suggestions for the transitions.

I've looked as essayedge and some other sites but I can't tell which one gives the most bang for your buck. (I'm looking to spend less than $200, aiming for around $100-125)

Any suggestions?

Also, I know there are free reviews available but I don't have time (48/hr turn-around plz). It's my fault for procrastinating (jk, i actually just suck at writing) but I'm willing to pay to make up for it.

Thanks for your time!

Maybe look into your college? Many offer it for free.

All I would say is . . .you are better off trusting the people that you know to look at it than someone who you really don't know. All of these packages and $$ and policy things these days , is all too confusing.

Its hard to tell beneath all of that advertising on who really works for you and who doesn't know anything.
It would be downright dangerous to work with a person, who "thinks" they have the " medical admissions officers' perspectives".

There should be a PS Thread 2014-2015 on here somewhere.

I used Ivyessays because it was recommended in an essay writing book I borrowed from the library. After they returned my essay, I then sent it to the pre-health adviser at my college and he said it was fine. Then just to be safe, I sent it to another faculty member at a different college. The second faculty member said my story was interesting and that the essay was fine. Mind you, I spent about a 4-5wks working on my essay and getting feedback from friends and people here on SDN and Reddit. So I'd say you can skip the editing company if the content of your essay is good, and just have a writing tutor or something check the grammar.
