How many of you used essayedge or other essay services for your personal statements? Did they dramatically help improve your essays?

Yes they did. Essay Edge rocks!

I made an M on the writing sapmle but my essays have been complemented at all of my interviews. They really do preserve your ideas and feelings but simply make the comunication more efficent and elegant. They dont write them for you by any means though! at least not for the 190 i paid for the two essays i had them edit.

I also used EssayEdge. I liked the way they made my essay flow better. It wasn't a drastic rewrite but it gave it that extra edge.

I used Essay Edge and I was not very impressed with what they did. Maybe I just go a bad writer. I think sending your essay to as many people as possible for review is probably better than the editing service.
And again, this is my experience.

A professor of English, who is writing my LOR, actually offerred to proof my essays for me. Guess I lucked out 🙂
