Any ideas on what the boldened phrase means?

I am not entirely sure but what I am getting out of this is that they are assuming that you were probably at some university for last several years, what did you think of your experience during these years. or it could also mean that, since they expected you to do some medically related work or some other sort of EC work, what impression did that leave on you.

I could be completely wrong since I am half awake and not reading into it but that's what I would write on.

Is this for a secondary? that is one awkwardly worded prompt!!
