Establishing in-state residency

Not sure if you guys know about this or not yet.. But what schools allow you to establish in-state residency after your D1 year? In particular, I'm referring to Indiana, Pitt, Michigan, and UNC, so please just address those please! I emailed all four of those schools and only Indiana has replied with a very vague response that sounds like a yes.

Pitt said it's possible but quite difficult. The dental school doesn't make the determination, which makes it hard for them to say. But they did say if you get your driver's license in PA, register your car in PA, and file your taxes in PA, you have a good chance.
