One of my secondaries asks for a significant ethical or moral dilemma and how you dealt with it. In one of my labs, a friend told me that he had stolen a drug... I believe he did so because he had some mental health issues and needed helped, therefore I ended up reporting it to health services. I didn't report it to my lab supervisor because I didn't want him to get into trouble over something that he knew was stupid and wasn't going to do again. Does this look bad to write about? Any opinions would be great...

Just talk about why you made the decisions you did and describe what happened. If things didn't turn out well maybe talk about what you would have done differently if you had the chance.

A dilemma is a dilemma because there isn't an easy right answer - I think they (Pitt right?) just wants to see how you think and what kind of values are important to you.
