Evolution or physiology class

I have the option of taking evolution or physiology under the bio department. I took physiology many years ago at a community college so I think this would be the better option.

I would take what most interests you. If you are agnostic on that score, I would lean toward physiology.

A few schools require anatomy/physio in some form as a pre req so I would take it just in case. Creighton and TCU are two I can think of

If you take A&P the course content for each component will be diluted. Consider taking Anatomy as its own class, but close to the time you plan to matriculate, as all those hard-learned details tend to fade rapidly.

That is a good point. I see it as a stronger course than at the CC and I can take something I have more interest in.

The instructor for the physiology course says I would likely be overloading myself with organic chemistry and biochemistry all at the same time. Any thoughts? It does not seem unreasonable to take these together.

So I agree with the others that physio is the way to go. To bring something new to the conservation, my devil's advocate argument for evolution is that some of the concepts may translate to medical school as well. Little bits of evolution sneak their way into anatomy, physiology, and embryology.
