What's the exact time tomorrow that we should aim to be complete? End of business day? 1159 pm EST? Will programs who say "our deadline is oct 1" generally mean they'll start downloading Oct 2?

ERAS has been open for 2 weeks. If you're still playing the deadline game now, you've already lost.

I was under the impression theyd wait for Deans letters to be uploaded "I'm assuming schools will upload them sometime today during businesd hrs) so I'm assuming pds will look at complete applications with the letters and the Deans letters tomorrow?

PDs have already been looking at applications, people have already gotten interviews. Complete your application asap. Don't worry about deadlines, just complete it.

While this may be true for some programs, there have definitely been interviews going out over the past two weeks. Submit now.

Most schools have already uploaded the MSPE. It just gets released today.

All of our interview slots are currently full already.

Some will probably drop and a few more will get interviewed though.

-Just my 2 cents. I applied to about 100 programs in FM, IM, psych
-I have heard back from at about 40 of them already.
-They do rolling interviews and the name of the ERAS game is to get stuff in on the day it opens (i.e. Sept.15) Got 2 interviews on Sept. 16
-I got the majority of my interviews in late September and early October and most interview dates were already taken into late October.
-So like the other poster said if you are trying to play the "deadline game" you have lost - submit ASAP.
-I highly recommend if you don't already have - get mentors and talk to your fellow med students/school admin. they would probably have told you to submit Sept 15 instead of waiting until Oct.1 and will help you alot so you don't make stupid mistkaes
