Here's my situation - I took the kaplan course in 2007 but never took the mcat. Then, after I graduated in 2008 I studied with the kaplan books on my own for a few months and took the test. I got a 22 and studied more on my own. Took it again and only got a 24T ( 8, 8, 8). I obviously need to do better so I'm looking to prep one more time but can't decide between kaplan and exam krackers. I think a need some subject matter refreshing and more experience with the exam questions / format. From your experience, which would you recommend for someone in my situation? Thanks!

I suggest getting new books primarily because you need new practice material. For Bio, you may want to go with EK Bio for content review and BR Bio for passage practice. Don't forget to get new practice tests.

Biology:
1. EK Bio + EK 1001 Bio, non-detail oriented 1. BR/TPR Hyperlearning, detail oriented 3. Kaplan

Physics
: 1. BR 2. Nova 3. TPR Hyperlearning 4. Kaplan

Verbal: 1. EK Verbal + EK 101 Verbal 2. TPR Hyperlearning 3. BR 4. Kaplan (Avoid if possible)

Organic Chemistry: 1. BR, by far 2. TPR Hyperlearning 3. EK/Kaplan

General Chemistry: 1. BR, by far 2. TPR Hyperlearning 3. EK/Kaplan

Extra Practice Material: 1. TPR Hyperlearning Verbal Workbook + TPR Hyperlearing Science Workbook, good source of practice passages 2. EK 1001 series, helps nail down basics
