I'm sure this has been beat to death however I am curious as to whether examkrackers is worth the money. I have the 1001 bio questions and 101 questions in VR and I like them, however I am considering purchasing the complete study package from amazon for $110. I am studying (again) for the MCAT which I will sit for january 31st. However I have used nothing but kaplan so far and have been unimpressed. I feel they have way too much in thier review books. I have recieved mid 20's and would like to increase my score(who wouldnt). I understand that pure content review is not the only objective to mastering the MCAT however I feel that I am lacking in memorizing some of the subject matter and feel that possibly examkrackers could help. I see that on these forumns a lot of people give examcrackers love. However is it worth the 110 dollars to get another set of study materials. I am thinking it would be good to use more than company's set of materials?

I'd definitely recommend purchasing EK bio, but there's better alternatives for physical sciences. BR seems to be the current SDN favorite--and for good reason. There's simply the best for physics and Gchem.

So buy EK off amazon and then get the rest from BR, in my opinion

hmm I could purchase the EK bio review book and the Berkley review physics book (I believe it says nova on the cover? and save myself almost 40 bucks. I just took inorganic 1 this past spring and inorganic 2 I am taking this fall. I considering I am in the course now and planning on sitting for the jan 31st mcat I think I should be able to pull off with just the kaplan material for Inorganic chem as chem is my strongest subject. Physics and bio however could use some work. would that be ok? If I used nova physics ek bio and kaplan inorganic and as for ochem I am strong in chem and I could supplement with my school textbooks and kaplan considering that this subject is not heavily tested on the MCAT nowadays. thank you for your post btw. ok im off to class.

Nova is not the same as berkeley review. There are some who really like Nova, but BR general gets better reviews for physics. Here is a summary thread you should look at:

thank you for the link. i will be purchasing BR physics. I will continue to look for it on the internet. Physics is by far my worst subject so hopefully this can help me out.

Yes, EK was all I studied, no Kaplan class (saved all that for a new dirtbike), and then strill got a 29. You have to use EK, they are just a huge help. I can say, i jus took the MCAT in JULY. go iowa hawkeyes, 9-0!!
