What do you think about sending more LORs than the maximum that a school allows. I really want to go to UC Davis and they have a limit of 5 LORs--that's what the secretary at the admissions office said. However, I have 7 good LORs and I would really like to send in those 2 more letters just to maybe help my chances of getting into that school.

Any advice/input?

Thank you kindly!

I've heard you shouldn't send in more than they request. They are already flooded with applications so i doubt they would read more than they have to, anyway.

dont do it.

why be seen as someone who cant follow directions. and 5 is alot as it is compared to other schools who only want 3.
