Now that I have recently become an associate, I am learning about all these recent products which I wasn't exposed to while I was in dental school or during my residency experience.
The other day, one of the dentists at the practice I joined, needed to retract some gingiva in order to get impressions for his crown preps. To my surprise, he did not take out a cord packer and place any retraction cords but injected a material called "expa-syl" which seems much easier to manipulate and more pain free. I wanted to know if anyone in this forum has used it or heard of it and what their opinions are.
I can't wait to give it a try in the near future!

Thanks! 🙂
