I am having a hard time looking for direct information on compensation for a new Navy Dentist. Does anyone know what salary should be expected now (2009) and later when I graduate (2012)? I am starting to dream about my G37 Coup, but want to make sure that I can afford when time comes😎.

Thanks in advance.

p.s. I know salaries change from area to area, but avg numbers or specific information per location would be greatly appreciated.

I've seen it on an Army thread - your navy is the same. Also, depending on where you are stationed at, your BAH will vary significantly.

All services pay the same - you should expect around $75k coming out of school +/- $5k depending on the housing allowance where you are assigned.

all the various military pay charts for this year can be viewed here: http://militarytimes.com/money/pay_charts/

youll have to do some adding, looking at base pay, BAH, BAS, dental VSP and ASP. its a fun game to play that changes slightly every year!
