Thank you for the reassurance. Is it necessary to explain the other career options I have explored?
This sounds fine. You can elaborate at interviewsThank you for the reassurance. Is it necessary to explain the other career options I have explored?
Instead, I was hoping to just mention I was unsure of which profession in healthcare I was interested in, but by being a CNA I realized I loved working with patients and scribing allowed me to differentiate between nurse, PA and MD/DO and so for the reasons x, y and z I am pursuing medicine.
Lovely of you to assume I will receive an interview--let alone, interviews. Thank youThis sounds fine. You can elaborate at interviews

Good point, but I think what I mean is that prior to working in a hospital, I had really no idea the different roles these various professions played. Especially the different roles of a PA/NP vs MD/DO. I think even beyond that, working with both professions and getting to ask these providers questions about their training, would they do it again? Do they feel limited? What's most frustrating about their career, etc was what I needed to solidify my decision.
In addition, do my extracurriculars seem okay? I forgot to mention I have 10 hours of shadowing with a FM physician, hopefully Ill be able to get more I'm asking around to do more non-clinical volunteering that I am passionate about but who knows what will happen with COVID...is there anything else I'm lacking?
I think you should be good. But I am just another pre-med. It all comes down to you effectively conveying that with your essays.
