Is something like, doing the March of Dimes (similar to Walk of Hunger) qualify as volunteer experience?

It should. Anything that falls in the category of giving up some of your time (non-monetary compensation) to help/assist others whether it's medically related or not should qualify as volunteering.

In your case, correct if I am wrong here, the march of dimes might fall under both extracurricular and volunteering. 🙄

Put it under volunteering I guess, but its more like community outreach... EC would work also, and it may actually be a better fit.

Volunteer, yes. Clinical, no.

remember, quality over quantity.

I listed St Jude's up 'til dawn, I think it's similar, but I've never participated in March of Dimes.

By similar, I mean great cause, not a whole lot of time commitment. It'll definitely look better if you've participated for a number of years.

If you've got so many activities you have to make choices---this is probably one to leave off. But definitely put it on there if there's room.
