just out of curiosity how many extracurriculars are you listing on your amcas?

i have 8 so far

research ~600 hours
hospital volunteer ~175 hours
church volunteer ~300 hours
poster panel session ~ 4 hours
tutor ~ 400 hours
deans list
community service ~300 hours
award for hospital volunteer

I had 14 last year.

I don't think posting this will help you much (except ease your curiosity I guess). Everyone is different so don't try to compare yourself to others who have more ECs listed than you.. you might fall into the mistake of trying to fluff up your app just so you can have similar numbers! Eight is still a good number.. it is about being well-rounded and showing time committment

I agree. Definitely don't put something you did for a few hours just to increase the number.
