I have not bought this program, mainly because is expensive and I am scared of "what if it doesn't work" and waste money for nothing. Can someone who has used it tell me if it worked for them or not?

Don't do it. There are far cheaper ways to increase reading speed and comprehension.

It actually did work for me for the ACT. I believe it is a good program, not just some random bs. I got it for free so it was completely worth it. If you are using it trying to increase MCAT verbal..then forget it, because verbal is much more comprehension and analysis than reading.

Well, yeah, of COURSE it was worth it for you. You got it for free. Paying for it? Probably not a good move.

I'm calling placebo effect on this one.

Can be quite a powerful effect, however... but we could also achieve it by giving you a 99 cent bottle of aspirin and convincing you of the science behind aspirin and improved brain function. For instance, since aspirin is a blood thinner*, it allows for better perfusion of the brain, resulting in higher performance. Aspirin's proposed effect on the brain can be seen in its ability to "stop a heart attack in its tracks" as it is able to increase perfusion of the heart by allowing blood flow to the heart. In the same way, then, aspirin is able to increase bloodflow to the brain, stopping a "brain attack" (the inability to recall information or think about the topic at hand) in its tracks. As a result, taking 1-2 aspirin per day and an additional 1-2 tablets immediately before taking a test or attempting an assignment will actually result in better performance in your classes and on the MCAT.**


*Many people believe aspirin is a blood thinner or a vasodilator; however, this is a myth. Being as this is about the placebo effect, however, it could be "true."

I do admitted that alot of it is placebo. But I also think some of it is not. Training my eye to not lag and hold on some words does help me read faster.

But hey w.e works. If you buy a fake drug that gave you a placebo effect so that you did extremely well on MCAT. I would say heck yea go for it lol.

haha, totally. actually, my UG research advisor and I were giving a keynote presentation at a conference awhile back and in closing after my part of the presentation, she was talking about the airborne placebo lawsuit and how airborne was found to be nothing but a placebo effect (for practical purposes). She finished, though, by saying she'd still buy their product because, despite the lack of a biochemical pathway for medicinal purposes, its effect on how a person feels (and, according to some studies possibly even on immunity itself) via a placebo effect appears to be quite real...
