Well its a stike against you, that most else will not have. You need to make up for it somehow.

Do research, volunteer, international rotation. Make yourself shine in a positive way.

Try to make them overlook that one misstep.
 
This was be a major issue for a program. You will be required to take CREOG exams yearly and your boards. They are not going to be keen on having someone who fails exams. One exam maybe with a really good explanation, but multiple exams, no.

Hi guys,

Just wondering, how much of a red flag is it to obgyn programs if I have to remediate shelves in other clerkships? Assuming solid Step scores and good evaluations. Thanks!

You shouldn't be having trouble with multiple shelf exams. That's a bit much.

As to how much it will affect you, it's hard to say, but you will probably have trouble getting interviews at some of the higher tier programs.
