Failed step 1 and plan on reporting on ERAS

Passed comlex and failed step 1. Many have recommended to not report step scores. According to faculty at my school, this is not allowed. Now with that in mind, I am curious if there has ever been anyone else in my shoes. Took step 1, failed and didn't retake it, and reported it. Were you ever able to match? My expectations aren't too high. I'm interested in IM, FM, pm&r, and psych

As a DO, you don't have to report USMLE scores if you don't want to. Now, although very rare, it doesn't stop any programs from asking during interviews whether you took it or not, in which case you can't lie.
