I suspect people more often got benefits of regrades back in the day of #2 pencil ovals. But since it's all computerized, it's not like the score will be any different a second time. Unless you have some testing anomoly you can point to I'm not sure this is a good use of your time. On the bright side, you were pretty close, so it's not like you are starting from ground zero. You just have to learn a few new things and refresh all the old things you knew. Good luck.

no, didnt do any nbme's. which one should i do, or all. anyone know where i can get them with answers?

usmle cd nite b4 test 55-60%.

I would recommend the NBME 2 or 3. I got the exact same grade on both AND the real thing. They were extremely acurate for me anyway.

Just curious for all the people who failed, how did your school inform you and did they contact you before you got your score?

Just my opinion...

NBME's are only good for assessing where you are. I did not think that they were a very good learning tool since they do not give you answers or explanations. I would do more UW w/ thorough review of the explanations & more content review if it were me.

couldnt agree more. for me, the top three resources were: UW, Goljan audio/RR path text, FA. if i had to take the test over again, honestly that's all i'd do. and i would do it in that order. then i'd take a practice NBME and hope for the best. best of luck....you're closer than you think...

This has been discussed in the experiences thread. But, I'd suggest that if you are going to do the NBME's (which would give you a great feel for the exam), you'd be cheating yourself if you dont go over the answers as many questions do repeat.

The answers/bootleg copies can be found on many sites online, however as law2doc will quickly point out, no one here can discuss where or how (but just google).

i failed w/ a sim score and paid the 55 bones for a rescore. consider it a donation. sorry. i'd still do it JIC.

Use Rapid Review for Path and see if you can find a copy of Golijan's high yield notes and lectures-- do a search on this topic on how to do that.
