Hello guys,

I’ve come to the realization that I’ve possibly made an egregious error in not reporting all my coursework to AMCAS. I’m currently accepted to medical school and had no problems with the application process, but after conversation with my peers it seems I’ve made a mistake.

During my Freshman year summer I took a community college course that I received an A in. However, I did not transfer the credits as I didn’t actually learn anything and I planned to retake the course at my 4-year university. On AMCAS, I failed to report this.

Although I’ve already been accepted, it seems there may have been an oversight by AMCAS and I want to make sure this does not haunt me in the future. What is the best way to remediate this?

Thank you

Just tell the school you’ve been accepted to honestly and apologize for the oversight. Also, you’ll likely need to send in all official transcripts so make sure you include this one.

This shouldn’t be a big deal so don’t stress. You’re already accepted and it’s a good grade. If it were an F, I could see the concern but it’s clear you weren’t purposefully hiding an A.
