Ok, I failed orgo 2 and i'm taking it again. this time i should get least a B+. Now, on my transcript the F wont appear, and the second grade will be calculated into the gpa. My question is.. will AADSAS count the F in my gpa..
On there website, it gives an unclear answer..
---------------

"An exempt or audit course is one for which your transcript shows no credit earned. Audit and exempt courses should be reported as "E." Do not record credit hours or a grade for an exempt course; these courses are excluded from all grade point average computations.

A repeated course is one that you have taken more than once, regardless of the reason. Both the original and the repeated course(s) are included in the computation of the undergraduate grade point average. Enter "R" the second time a course is taken, and each time thereafter. Do not enter "R" for the first time you took the course."
- AADSAS
-------------------

So, technically I did repeat the course. But it is "exempt" on my transcript.

what should I do?

I know this was discussed before, and people said that it doesnt count.. but then other places on the site i've seen people saying that the F does count.. if sumone could elaborate .. and tell me how you know..

Thanks

It will prob count cause your second class will get a repeat in the CRN right?

I would say it would count no matter what.

that answers it, they both are used to calculate your gpa.

I assume you have a grace policy at your school where they will reaverage your gpa only using the repeated grade. that's well and good but doesn't work with aadsas/amcas
