"Well Woman Examinations" Whaaaat?! The guy's a player.

If that's what a well woman exam is then what's a well child exam?

The kid is both crazy and an idiot but this got me thinking a bit. He has the passion and willing to put in the work (literally...) to be a physician. With his demographic, medicine is not a very common aspiration to even think about. With those things, he could've make it into medicine easily if he takes the traditional route. With a 26-29 MCAT and 3.4-3.6 GPA, medicine is wide open to him. This is an excellent example for the argument of racial background. If any member in his immediate family is well-educated and realize his potential then slap him in the face and tell him to go to school to get the MD or if he has a mentor who sits down and talk to him about his future, things could've been different...

A dangerously insane human being... Glad they got him in the system before he did some actual damage. FWIW we're flattered you think doctors are cool, kid

We've all done dumb stuff as a teen. It's just a quantitative difference.

Misguided is what he is, and it's pretty sad that this one shtick may keep him out of his dream...

Wow, I can't believe you think he is just "misguided." He repeatedly deceived patients, this wasn't a one time mistake, it was intentional and repeated.
How is it "sad" that someone with no ethics, is willing to lie and endanger patients won't get to become an actual doctor?
Unbelievable.

I don't think you want a crazy person like him to become a physician...

I'm sure most people wouldn't want this guy to be any of our doctors, as @W19 mentioned. I believe in the theory that if somebody is once insane, they are always insane.

No he doesn't. To go the MD route, you must be disciplined in school first and foremost. All this kid did was create a sham/scam organization and then broke many laws one way or another. Someone who is serious about school in any field would not do such things. He only has the passion to live in his own delusional world. And he doesn't have the actual work ethic required to even earn a bachelor's degree in some dumb studies (i.e. African-American studies or women's studies) major. I don't even think this kid graduated high school and if he did he was just pushed along as he aged out. My sister is a high school teacher and not everyone who graduates deserves to. They have to age out a certain % of kids to make sure that the system doesn't look bonkers with so many kids failing. From what I have seen in his behaviors, I am absolutely willing to bet that this kid is a high school dropout. I would never believe that he put in honest work of studying for exams (regents particularly), writing term paper essays, and participating forthright in class activities. No way. And you are sitting there saying that he has the work ethic to be an MD, lmao.

He is hurt by these accusations and hopes that his attorneys will help the truth come out, but he is glad that the community cares enough to have been concerned. We all need to learn to stop bringing people down for petty things like committing fraud and start lifting people up.

Kid coulda had a great career in PR

He was apparently homeschooled until 15.

And the newest interview. It's a good one too!

Unbelievable.
If he had better parents/mentors to guide him throughout his childhood, he might have directed his passion towards something less.... questionable. I'm reading this interview with his guardians, and they seem to be as delusional as he is.

You do make a good point... I'm now entertaining the thought that he is quite talented and resourceful. He would have lead a fine life if he applied himself to a different field (not in medicine) and didn't have that third-degree felony.

As an aside... wasn't there another guy in Florida who pretended to be a doctor? What's up with Florida.

He plans to open another clinic after this is over?!?! What is wrong with this guy?

Homeschooling since age 15, being told you can be whatever you want to be.

Sounds like he took the age old advice literally, and hasn't been told there are a few steps involved before you can be a doctor.

Guarantee this kid comes on this website and posts in 4 years.

"Guys I have a record for pretending to be a doctor. Will this prevent me from becoming a real one?"

Alright, I'm not a psychologist but I'm gonna go out on a whim here and make a profile for this guy. This is ridiculous.

My guess is this guy probably doesn't have a lot of friends. Last time I checked, phD's, don't practice medicine. Only MD's or DO's allopathic or osteopathic doctors not researchers. Most likely isn't someone who is willing to put forth the effort into something to obtain it, (hints) him willing to practice as a pretend doctor and not willing to earn it himself. He clearly wanted to be a doctor, otherwise he wouldn't have impersonated it. I'm going to guess he also isn't very intelligent based on the fact he didn't do his research and is using a dollar store stethascope. Most likely didn't have a lot of money, or he would have invested a tad more. I'm also guesing his work ethic isn't up to speed considering he didn't even attempt medical school. *or so what we know.*

Rant over. Again, I'm not a psychologist.

This kid was 100% enabled and pushed by his parental figures the whole way. The home schooling, the glamour shots. Kid's probably really bright and capable and the mom/whoever had no idea what to do with it, so they just made it up as they want.

What I don't understand is who were his patients? How many did he have? All of them need to have their heads checked. Nothing about this kid was questionable to them?

the fact that he's 18 and managed this is impressive to me. I wouldn't have been able to open a fake medical office and create a fake website when i was 18 lol.

Google 'Frank Abagnale.'

Successfully impersonating pilots for the largest air carrier in the world at age 16 blows away scamming an elderly lady or two out of genuine medical care.

Also..... he defends himself by saying "he never reached into a uterus and never 'snatched' (!!!) a baby"......

You can do that?

I can't help but wonder what kind of home his kid grew up in. He was homeschooled and a minor until just recently. Who's really at fault here? It seems like his family played some role in feeding these delusions of his. If he was raised by a bunch of crazy people, what chance did he have?
