Hey I also applied to these schools- have heard from UNC but not LSHTM or UMass (was kind of surprised that it's taking them so long). What program did you apply to?

When did you hear from UNC? What programs did u apply to? I keep looking at my calendar and checking my emails. I just have to be patient.

I heard from UNC a few weeks ago but it was for the PhD in epi. I applied to the same programs as you for UMass and LSHTM. I was thinking of getting in touch with UMass today to see whats up...

I've been accepted to both UW and JHSPH for MPH Epi. UW gives me a full scholarship + health insurance + travel (int'l student). JHSPH has only sent me an acceptance letter, nothing about scholarships.

Assuming that JHSPH gives me a scholarship, should I take it or just go to UW? I have excellent links with UW faculty. No links at all with JHSPH faculty. But JHSPH, as we all know, is the No. 1 school.... Ideas anyone?

Is UW Epi is giving you an actual scholarship or a research assistantship? I wasn't aware that they offer scholarships.

Go with UW in that case... no contest there. UW is a great school as is, and with a scholarship - its prestigious.
Where are you from?
I'm an international myself... I have no funding anywhere....

I wouldn't assume until you hear from them. You must have great credentials to have received such a generous offer from UW though, so I'm sure you are in the running! UW is a fantastic school so if you took the full ride from them, I'm sure you'd be happy too.
