Organic Chem 1 + Lab - 4 Credits
Physics I + Lab - 4 Credits
Ecology + Lab - 4 Credits
Senior Seminar Research - 2 Credits

Here's a question:
Those of you who have taken both Organic Chem and Physics at the same time: Is it horrible? I am debating about adding either Animal Behavior or Contemporary European Philosophy to my schedule. Both are 3 credit classes. I will be working 10-15 hours per week in the lab. I am a great student, but I have heard the Physics/Organic combo is rough. Based on this, I have been reluctant to sign up for an additional class even though I would love to take one of these are classes.

I am not sure if this is true, but I have heard that med schools frown upon students completing prereq's on a part-time basis. From what I have been told, they question whether or not the student could handle a full load of science classes. Perhaps someone could verify whether or not they have heard the same thing. Of course, not everybody's life lends itself to full-time school. That said, if ADCOMs do frown upon this, it will be worth it to take at least 1 semester of classes on a full-time basis in the future. Just a thought!

It depends on the circumstances. If someone has a lot more on his or her plate (working, supporting a family, etc.), then going part-time may not be looked down upon at all. However, if a student does part-time just to make the semester easier (which is apparent in most cases), then that is definitely frowned upon.

I am doing part-time too.

I'm plannning on taking either Genetics or Cell Bio (registered for genetics now, but might switch) and a creative writing course to satisfy that pesky English requirement. Not really looking forward to that. :(

Do NOT take Halo 2 and XBOX 360 at the same time! Those courses are very tough and will likely take up most of your time. Taking them together is just overkill.

Yeah, he's great. I'm petitioning it for honors, so I'm thinking of writing my extra honors essay on Islamic elements in the Inferno.

Watch out for the golf class! I had a friend take it last semester and he ended spending a lot of time getting extra help after school. Although my schedule isn't as sweet as yours, I do get fridays off. Can you say three day weekend...
