at this stage of application cycle, i think many of us are pretty jumpy when it comes to the mailman or phonecalls. any interesting stories?
just the other day, i was talking on my phone at ~5:30pm when i see an unknown number w/ an unknown 402 area code on my caller id notice. i quickly end the conversation so i could could call that person back, expecting good news from one of the schools i've interviewed at. well, i call back and i hear:
Guy: "Hi, My name is - - and I'm from Creighton".
A rush of adrenaline fills me as I think it's an acceptance call.
Turns out that this dude was just asking me if I'd be needing a student host for my interview. Get this: I had already had my interview and was back home........arghhh....
well, 0 acceptances for me so far.
