Position Wanted Family Medicine PGY1 Wanted ANYWHERE

I am a recent (2017) medical graduate from a California approved Caribbean medical school and have first-time step 1 and step 2 CK passing scores of 204 and 222 respectively. I had to repeat CS but passed it on my second try within 2 weeks of finding out my score. I am an American citizen, fluent in English and a few other languages and completed an MBA in Healthcare Administration while I was in medical school. My Clinical GPA was 3.70 and MBA GPA 3.97. I have been aspiring to become a family doctor ever since I was a child but unfortunately, have not matched this year. I have no geographical restrictions and am a self-motivated and a dedicated learner, completing my education in 3 different countries over the years. Also, I have a year of mental health research experience at Hopkins, 3 months of vascular neurology clinical internship with a medical training license and teach nursing students at a college since graduating from medical school. Will greatly appreciate any and all leads.

I don’t know a particular program off the top of my head but I seem to recall michigan having a number of img friendly programs.

Unfortunately you might be stuck cold calling programs...I’d start with the less desirable areas or newly acgme accredited traditionally aoa programs.

Thank you, I will be doing that as I study for step 3. It might sound cliche but my life depends on pursuing this dream of mine.
