Has anyone tried to fill out the FAFSA form yet? I went to the website and they only had the option of filing for 2005-2006 school year. When will they open it up for the 06-07 year?

Just wanted to point out that it's FAFSA...not FASFA... Sorry. It was bothering me.

Yup, you can't do it until after Jan 1. I called the schools to confirm a few days ago, and they agreed. Though they all said the sooner it's filled out, the sooner they can get your package together.

Oh jeez...it's 2:15am and I can't type "package" without giggling. It's time for this buxom predent to hit the sack!

Is it better if I spend all my money on a house and then apply ? my wife does work but doesn't make much.

any help would be appreciated.

It depends on what school you're going to. If you have, say 15k saved up, and are attending a school with a 10k tuition and fees, then you are better off doing something with the money--sheltering it in some way.

If your school has tuition and fees that total $60k, then the 15k doesn't matter much.

This is unbelievable...who was the genius who decided that two cute little kids were qualified to moderate a forum on dental school? Though I must admit that their grammar is quite good considering they havent yet finished primary school.

You can get your pin now, which must be done before you apply.
