Fastest Turnaround Time...

I'm trying to gauge how fast medical schools will get back to a student if they really like them after the interview.

I interviewed at ECU on tuesday(Jan.7), and I got an acceptance letter today!!! (10th) [My first by the way, WOOHOO!!!!]

Now that is fast as Schitt!!! I was totally knocked off my feet!
Does anyone have a similar story of success?

Damn, that is fast. They must have mailed it the second you left. Did they have you run anything to the post office for them on your way out? Congrats.😀

Why didn't they just have you hold while the secretary typed it up, would have saved them .37 cents.

Ohio State has their committee meeting late afternoon after all the interview sessions are finished. If you visit close to their end-of-month mailing date, you can get a pretty quick turnaround if accepted. I think I received my letter of acceptance a little over a week after my interview.

Conversely, I interviewed at Pittsburgh on September 13th, and won't hear until sometime next month...not a good example because they're not rolling. Case Western, however, is rolling, and I interviewed there ~September 20th, and they let me know I'm still in a pile over there waiting for a final decision. Whee!

during the first semester, michgain responded to a few people on the friday of their interview....a lot of people got it on the monday after their interview.......that's less than 1 business day........
